²⁴ And Asa ^[a]lay down with his fathers and was buried with his fathers in the city of his father David; and his son ^(A)Jehoshaphat reigned in his place.

Nadab and Then Baasha Rule over Israel

²⁵ Now ^(B)Nadab the son of Jeroboam became king over Israel in the second year of Asa king of Judah, and he reigned over Israel for two years. ²⁶ He did evil in the sight of the Lord, and ^(C)walked in the way of his father and ^(D)in his sin into which he misled Israel.
